THE NEW SEASON STARTS WITH CINDERELLA
a letter from Ted Henderson, Vice Chairman....
Ponteland Repertory Society are looking forward to their new season which begins with the Open Night on Wednesday 1st September at 7.30pm in the Coffee Lounge of the Memorial Hall, Darras Road.
Why don’t you come along and hear all the exciting plans for our new productions:
We are performing ‘Cinderella’ from Wednesday 1st December to Saturday 4th December at the Memorial Hall in Ponteland. This will be
Katie Howes
second Production and she will be telling us all about this at the open evening. Auditions for The Panto will be on Sunday 12th September at 2.00pm at the Memorial Hall. Rehearsals are likely start straight after the auditions and will be on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 7.30pm until 9.30pm. Venues for the rehearsals are sometimes at the Memorial Hall but Katie will issue rehearsal schedules as soon as she can, so everyone will know when and where they are rehearsing!
The following production will be ‘Me and my Girl’ which we will be performing from Tuesday 5th April to Saturday 9th April and we hope to be able to introduce our new Director at the open evening to tell us all about it. Deborah Barry (Middle Drive, Darras Hall) will be directing the Music and assembling the orchestra once again, and I know she is looking forward to teaching us - what will be a very challenging score!
So why not make a date in your diaries now for WEDNESDAY 1ST SEPTEMBER AT 7.30PM AT THE COFFEE LOUNGE IN THE MEMORIAL HALL. We welcome anyone, performers and non-performers who are interested in the Amateur Stage.
If you can’t make it, you can contact our Chairman on 0191 2501818.
